I just had the best breakfast and rarely do a review but wanted to share. I'm at the airport in Winnipeg and on a low carb diet so I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and fruit. Easy right? Well, sometimes the easiest things are the hardest to perfect. I have been a chef for over 40 years and was so surprised at the simple perfection so kudos to the chef! Eggs were real eggs, cooked perfectly and hot. Bacon done nicely without being pre-cooked or having the fatty ends under cooked and the most surprising was the fresh fruit.... Not one peice of bruising or green on the melon as I would usually see. Thank you for a great start to my day. I am catching a very early flight. Another amazing thing is that they're was barely anyone in the restaurant at this early hour and if you know restaurants, that is usually when the food and service is the worst.... Slow times usually = disaster. I probably should also mention that my server was attentive and professional. Thanks all!

Service was very slow. They were very understaffed.  Tabes didn't get cleaned so had to ask for a rag.  My buddy got the chicken wings for $14 and the brought him out 6.

The only reason this place stays in business is its the only place in the airport.  The owner ought to show up and see what is going on. The restaurant in town has good reviews. Why would you allow an airport location to drag down your reputation.

I travel ti the US every 2 weeks, if you're looking to be let down by poor service and bland food you are in the right place.  It's the only two things they are consistent at!
Suggeat eating elsewhere befor going through customs!  Winnipeg Airport Authority needs to boot them out.

I don't expect much from an airport restaurant but when cheese is not even melted on nachos, it's a problem.

This was literally the only place to eat.  And upon looking at the menu there is nothing really vegetarian to eat.

Caesar salad: standard.  Boring.  Bottled dressing.

Bruschetta:  Expensive.  Boring.  Didn't taste so good.  Something was a little off about it.

Cactus cut chips:  Ordered these because I was starving.  BBQ sauce was pretty decent.  However, upon getting the bill I realized we were paying 30 bucks.  Did they charge me 10 dollars for cactus cut chips??

All in all was an expensive, bland, and boring meal.  The only other option was Duty Free, which was even more costly.  Eat before you get to the airport.
